Mass-Driver is an independent foundry producing typefaces with a strong emphasis on research and craft. Established in 2020 by British designer Rutherford Craze, the studio focuses on a versatile retail catalogue of robust, highly functional type families designed for every kind of usage.

In 2021, the foundry was the first to introduce a radically simple licensing model which combines the value-based approach pioneered by Dinamo with an inclusive, all-formats scope. Companies and individuals can use MD fonts across all media in perpetuity, without worrying about media-specific restrictions or usage caps. Since its introduction, this licensing approach has been adopted by several other foundries.

The team moves slowly, tests constantly, and never compromises on the final result.
