There is a new sheriff in town. Meet the serif rival of Saans. Serrif is a new default standard serif typeface with just the right neutral vibe, developed to follow the construction and principles of Saans. Minor differences exist between them, yet they make a great pair, coming from different worlds. Serrif has been optimised for smaller sizes and longer paragraphs, but it also works in display use. The design features a vertical stress axis, lower contrast and thicker serifs to enhance readability. The aesthetic is reminiscent of early transitional serifs and later static antiques. Serrif brings into the serif world a stand-alone workhorse that guarantees peace of mind to any graphic designer.
