Displaay is an independent type foundry founded in 2014. Based in Prague, Czech Republic, they work with collaborators and clients around the world. The studio is run by two former graphic designers Martin Vácha and Daniel Quisek, which gives a unique take on type design, having experienced both sides of the creative game. The foundry focuses on both retail and custom typefaces, aiming to address gaps in both the technical and aesthetic sides of typography with something meaningful and distinctive. Always focused on keeping the community engaged and meeting their needs.

Guided by a philosophy that embraces imperfection and spontaneity, they find inspiration in irregularities that give character to their fonts. Displaay is committed to producing typefaces that are not only functional but also rich in personality, serving the needs of designers who seek originality without compromising usability.

The core team is Czech-Slovak, but Displaay works with people from all over, taking on a variety of projects. Beyond type design, the foundry channels its passion for creativity through their Offline platform, led by Andrea Vacovská. This initiative allows them to publish books and create items that highlight their typefaces, offering these as special treats for themselves and their fans.
