Teodor is a serif typeface with a classicist appearance. Its weight stress is vertical and contrast quite high, with a standard x-height and smooth connections on stems. It stands next to its sibling typefaces Tobias and Reckless. As Teodor originates in the classicism art period, it has a calligraphic approach in the terminals. In Teodor one can find certain similarities with Romana (1892, Gustav F. Schroeder), Caslon 224 (1725, William Caslon and Edward Benguiat), Grouch (1970, Tom Carnase and Ronne Bonder) and Perpetua (1925, Eric Gill).
